How to Use

Step 1: Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle. Correct or polish the paint beforehand if swirl marks, scratches, or other defects need to be removed.

Step 2: Make sure the vehicle is completely dry and work out of direct sunlight with an ambient temperature above 40F (5C).

Step 3: Put on the supplied gloves and use Gtechniq Panel Wipe with the MF1 microfiber towel to remove polishing oils, residue, and other contamination from the surface.

Step 4: Evenly prime the supplied applicator with GT1 without oversaturating it.

Step 5: Working one panel at a time, apply the coating using overlapping crosshatch passesfirst side to side and then up and downto ensure complete and uniform coverage.

Step 6: Watch the coating rather than relying solely on a timer. GT1 will begin to visibly bead and separate as it flashes, typically after approximately 3060 seconds depending on temperature and humidity.

Step 7: Gently level the coating using a clean MF6 microfiber towel with minimal pressure, then immediately follow with a second MF6 towel to buff the surface to a clear, high-gloss finish.

Step 8: Inspect each panel carefully under strong lighting before moving on. Once the paint is complete, GT1 can also be applied to PPF, exterior glass, trim, and wheels.

Step 9: Avoid washing the vehicle for 7 days after application to allow the coating to fully cure.
