GREYSCALE 00 STRIP SOAP is an intensive, low-pH car wash soap designed for the times when you don’t want to preserve what’s already on the paintyou want to start over. Formulated to remove existing paste waxes, spray waxes, and sealants, STRIP SOAP gives you a clean foundation for decontamination, polishing, or a fresh protection system while its Minty Orange scent makes the reset process a little more enjoyable.

Key Features & Benefits

Resets Existing Protection Formulated to break down and remove pre-existing waxes and sealants when you’re intentionally preparing the vehicle for a fresh start.

Low-pH Cleaning Power Uses acidic cleaning chemistry to provide a more intensive wash than a traditional pH-neutral maintenance shampoo.

Ideal Before Correction & Protection Creates a cleaner starting point before decontamination, polishing, waxing, sealing, or installing a new protection system.

Useful Against Minerals & Road Salt The low-pH formula is also useful for addressing lingering mineral contamination on boats and neutralizing alkaline road salts and de-icing agents during winter maintenance.

Minty Orange Scent Gives the stronger reset-wash chemistry a fresh citrus-and-mint fragrance during use.

How to Use

Step 1: Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt and contamination.

Step 2: Add STRIP SOAP to your wash bucket according to your preferred wash setup and activate with water.

Step 3: Wash the vehicle methodically from the cleaner upper panels downward using quality wash media.

Step 4: Pay particular attention to areas where old protection, mineral residue, road film, or winter contamination may have accumulated.

Step 5: Rinse the vehicle thoroughly and inspect the surface before moving into decontamination, paint correction, or your new protection process.

Pro Tip: Think of STRIP SOAP as a preparation product rather than your everyday shampoo. If you’re happy with the protection already on the vehicle, reach for a pH-neutral maintenance soap instead. Use STRIP SOAP when the goal is specifically to reset the surface and prepare it for what comes next.

Why We Love It

We believe a proper reset wash deserves its own chemistry. Trying to remove old protection with dish soap or simply using an excessive amount of normal car shampoo is an inconsistent way to begin a correction or protection job. 00 STRIP SOAP gives that process a defined purpose: remove what you no longer want, clean the surface thoroughly, and give the next stage of the detail a better starting point.

Compatible With / Works Best With

Iron Removers & Clay Products Follow the reset wash with chemical and mechanical decontamination when embedded or bonded contaminants remain.

Compounds & Polishes Use STRIP SOAP at the beginning of a paint-correction process to remove old waxes and sealants before evaluating and correcting the paint.

Waxes, Sealants & Ceramic Protection Once the surface has been properly prepared, apply your chosen protection system to the freshly reset finish.
