The RUPES BigFoot LK900E Mille is a professional-grade gear-driven dual action polisher designed to bridge the gap between traditional rotary polishers and free-spinning random orbital machines. With forced rotation, exceptional cutting power, and RUPES’ innovative clockwise rotation technology, the Mille delivers fast defect removal while maintaining the safety and consistency detailers expect from a dual action polisher.

Key Features & Benefits

Gear-Driven Forced Rotation System Unlike free-spinning dual action polishers, the Mille maintains pad rotation under pressure, providing faster correction and more consistent cutting power on curves, body lines, and challenging paint systems.

Bridges the Gap Between Rotary and DA Polishers Delivers the cutting performance of a rotary while significantly reducing heat generation, holograms, and the learning curve associated with traditional rotary polishing.

Clockwise Rotation Technology RUPES engineered the Mille with a proprietary clockwise rotational movement that reduces lateral pull, increases operator comfort, and improves machine control.

Powerful 900-Watt Motor The high-torque motor provides exceptional correction capability for removing severe defects, oxidation, sanding marks, and heavy swirl marks.

Progressive Trigger & Variable Speed Control Fine-tune polishing speeds on the fly with the progressive trigger and ergonomic speed dial for maximum control and versatility.

Includes 5″ and 6″ Backing Plates Adapt to a variety of correction tasks with both 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″) backing plates included.

Extra Long 29.5-Foot Cord The heavy-duty 9-meter cord minimizes the need for extension cords and allows greater mobility around larger vehicles.

How to Use

Step 1:

Wash, decontaminate, and dry the vehicle thoroughly.

Step 2:

Select the appropriate Mille foam, wool, or microfiber pad based on the level of correction required.

Step 3:

Apply compound to the pad and spread evenly over the work area before activating the machine.

Step 4:

Use slow, overlapping passes while allowing the forced rotation system to do the work.

Step 5:

Inspect results and refine with a finishing polish if necessary.

Pro Tip:

The Mille excels when paired with RUPES D-A Coarse Compound and RUPES Wool Pads for heavy correction. For softer paints, follow up with D-A Fine Compound and a yellow foam pad to maximize gloss and clarity.

Why We Love It

At Car Supplies Warehouse, we love the RUPES Mille because it’s the perfect middle ground between a rotary and a traditional dual action polisher. If you’ve ever wished your DA had more correction power, or wished your rotary was easier to control, the Mille is the answer. The forced rotation system keeps the pad working even on curved panels while the clockwise rotation reduces fatigue and machine walk. For professionals tackling heavy correction work, this machine can dramatically reduce polishing time without sacrificing finish quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Mille different from a traditional dual action polisher?

The Mille uses a gear-driven forced rotation system that keeps the pad spinning under load, delivering more cutting power and consistent performance than free-spinning DA polishers.

Is the Mille safer than a rotary polisher?

Yes. While it provides rotary-like correction power, the dual action movement significantly reduces the risk of holograms, burn-through, and excessive heat buildup.

Can beginners use the Mille?

While more aggressive than a traditional DA polisher, the Mille is easier to learn and control than a rotary machine, making it suitable for enthusiasts willing to learn proper polishing techniques.

Does the Mille stop spinning when pressure is applied?

No. The forced rotation gear-driven design keeps the pad rotating even under pressure, which helps maintain correction efficiency across all panel shapes.
