The CANchecked MFD15 Gen2 Data Display for Mazda MX-5 NC provides a fully integrated vehicle-specific monitoring solution designed to bring critical engine and vehicle data directly into the driver’s line of sight. Supplied with a Mazda MX-5 NC-specific mounting bezel and plug-and-play connection harness, this package delivers OEM-style integration while unlocking extensive monitoring, diagnostic, and customization capabilities.

At the heart of the system is the compact MFD15 Gen2 display, featuring a high-contrast OLED screen engineered for exceptional visibility even in direct sunlight. The display supports CAN bus communication, OBD2 data acquisition, analog sensor inputs, and WiFi connectivity, allowing users to configure the display, update firmware, upload custom startup screens, and manage settings through CANchecked’s Online Display Setup Software (oDSS).

Designed for both street and motorsport applications, the MFD15 Gen2 supports up to eight customizable display pages and can monitor a wide range of engine, performance, and diagnostic parameters. Whether you’re tracking oil temperature, boost pressure, ethanol content, exhaust gas temperatures, or ECU data, the system provides a highly configurable platform tailored to your specific requirements.

Vehicle Compatibility & Data Availability

CANchecked products communicate directly with your vehicle via the CAN Bus. As a general guideline, CAN Bus became widely available in production vehicles from approximately 2008 onwards. Compatibility and the amount of available data depend on the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, installed control units, and software version.

Many modern vehicles provide only limited information through standard OBD diagnostics. For selected vehicles, CANchecked offers dedicated integrations that access additional vehicle data directly from internal vehicle communication networks. Available functions and parameters may vary between vehicles, even within the same model range.

Please note that not all displayed values are intended for diagnostic or safety-critical purposes. While we strive to provide accurate information, displayed data should not be relied upon as the sole source for vehicle operation, diagnostics, maintenance, tuning, or safety-related decisions.

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their specific vehicle before purchase and installation.
