Bilt Hamber Phat-Neut is a highly concentrated, neutral-pH vehicle cleaner designed to tackle everything from everyday road film to heavily contaminated lower panels and wheels without relying on harsh alkaline chemistry. Its unique Dry-On and Lift-Mode cleaning methods, exceptional dilution range, and hard-water buffering make Phat-Neut an incredibly versatile solution for traditional washing, rinseless washing, pre-treatment, bug removal, clay lubrication, and more.

Key Features & Benefits

Serious Cleaning at a Neutral pH Designed to wet, lift, and encapsulate contamination so dirt can be safely released from the surface without relying on aggressive high-pH chemistry.

Unique Dry-On Cleaning Method Unlike conventional cleaners that should never be allowed to dry, Phat-Neut can intentionally be allowed to dry into heavier contamination, giving the chemistry additional time to work into stubborn road film before rinsing.

Lift-Mode for Routine Cleaning For normal contamination, Phat-Neut can be used wet as a conventional cleaner or pre-treatment and worked panel by panel.

Excellent Rinseless Wash Solution Dilute to just 0.4% (1:250) for an economical rinseless bucket wash with the lubrication needed for safe contact cleaning.

One Concentrate, Multiple Jobs Use Phat-Neut for exterior washing, rinseless pre-treatment, wheels, lower panels, bug and bird dropping removal, clay lubrication, and light hard-surface cleaning.

How to Use

Step 1: Make sure the surface is cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight whenever possible.

Step 2: Select the appropriate dilution based on the level of contamination and intended cleaning process.

Step 3: For heavily contaminated areas, apply Phat-Neut using the Dry-On method and allow the product to work into the contamination as directed.

Step 4: For routine cleaning or rinseless pre-treatment, use Lift-Mode and keep the product wet while working panel by panel.

Step 5: Agitate or perform your contact wash as necessary for the chosen process.

Step 6: Rinse thoroughly when using it as a conventional exterior cleaner, or complete your normal towel process when using Phat-Neut as a rinseless wash.

Pro Tip: Dont automatically mix Phat-Neut stronger because the vehicle is dirty. Its broad dilution range is designed to let you match the chemistry to the job. Use the mildest concentration that effectively handles the contamination, then reserve the stronger 210% mixtures for lower panels, wheels, bugs, and genuinely heavy grime.

Why We Love It

We love Phat-Neut because it challenges the idea that you need a shelf full of specialized chemicals to handle different levels of vehicle cleaning. At one dilution its an economical rinseless wash; at another it can attack dirty lower panels, wheels, bugs, and real road film. The Dry-On process is particularly interesting because it turns something were normally taught to avoidletting chemistry dry on the vehicleinto an intentional cleaning method. Add in the neutral pH and hard-water performance, and Phat-Neut becomes an unusually capable product for both professional detailers and enthusiasts looking to simplify their wash process.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Bilt Hamber Phat-Neut different from a normal car shampoo?

Phat-Neut is much more than a conventional bucket soap. Its a concentrated neutral-pH cleaning system that can be diluted for rinseless washing, pre-treatment, heavy traffic film, wheel cleaning, bug removal, clay lubrication, and other detailing tasks.

Can Phat-Neut really be allowed to dry on the vehicle?

Yes, when intentionally using Bilt Hambers Dry-On method. Phat-Neut is specifically designed so it can dry into heavier contamination while continuing to loosen the dirt before the subsequent cleaning and rinse process. Always follow the recommended process and temperature limits.

Can I use Phat-Neut as a rinseless wash?

Yes. For a standard rinseless bucket wash, dilute Phat-Neut to approximately 0.4%, or 1:250. For additional lubrication, the concentration can be increased to approximately 0.5%, or 1:200.

Is Phat-Neut safe for ceramic-coated vehicles?

Its neutral-pH formulation makes Phat-Neut well suited to routine cleaning of coated vehicles while still providing meaningful road-film cleaning ability. As with any chemical, use the appropriate dilution for the level of contamination.

Is Phat-Neut good for hard water?

Yes. One of Phat-Neuts notable features is its ability to buffer water and capture ions associated with mineral deposits, helping reduce the residue and spotting problems that can occur when detailing with hard water.

Can I clean wheels with Phat-Neut?

Yes. For heavily contaminated wheels, Phat-Neut can be mixed as strong as 10%, or approximately 1:10. Less severe contamination can typically be handled at a lower concentration.

Can Phat-Neut be used on interiors?

It can be used at approximately 0.5% on suitable hard interior surfaces. It is not intended for soft furnishings, leather, faux leather, screens, or delicate trim.
