Enhanced Adhesion in Convenient Packets
Formulated specifically for use with 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes, our 3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 promotes a permanent bond with most low surface energy plastic materials commonly used in automotive instrument panel, interior trim and exterior trim parts. The liquid primer dries in 30 to 90 seconds for fast and efficient application once dry, it is ready to accept the attachment tape. The adhesion promoter is incorporated into an easy-to-use sponge inside a notched packet. Technicians simply tear open the top of the packet at the notches to expose the sponge and, using the bottom of the packet as an applicator, apply the fluid to the auto trim or part.
