The Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer is a ceramic-based trim coating designed to restore faded exterior plastics and keep them looking like new for years, not weeks. Unlike traditional dressings that wash away after a few washes, C4 forms a durable bond with the surface to provide long-lasting UV protection and color restoration.

Key Features & Benefits

Restores Faded Plastic Trim Revives dull, grey, and weathered exterior plastics back to a rich factory-new appearance.

Up to 2 Years of Durability Forms a permanent chemical bond with plastic surfaces for long-lasting results that won’t wash away like conventional dressings.

UV & Weather Protection Helps prevent future fading, discoloration, and degradation caused by sunlight and environmental exposure.

Non-Greasy Finish Delivers a natural OEM appearance without leaving behind an oily or artificially glossy look.

Ceramic Technology Penetrates and bonds to the plastic substrate rather than simply coating the surface.

How to Use

Step 1: Thoroughly clean and decontaminate the trim surface.

Step 2: Remove any previous dressings, oils, or residues using a panel prep product.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of C4 to the included applicator.

Step 4: Spread evenly across the trim surface using overlapping motions.

Step 5: Allow the coating to cure according to manufacturer recommendations.

Pro Tip

The success of C4 is heavily dependent on preparation. If the trim has old dressings or silicone residue present, use Gtechniq Panel Wipe before application to maximize bonding and durability.

Why We Love It

At Car Supplies Warehouse, we love Gtechniq C4 because it’s one of the few trim restoration products that truly delivers long-term results. Instead of constantly reapplying trim dressings every few weeks, C4 restores faded plastics and keeps them looking great for years. We’ve used it on everything from mirror caps and cowl panels to textured bumper trim, and the results are consistently impressive.
