The 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette Alpine series is the adjustable suspension system you need to consider if you want to replace fatigued or cracked composite leaf springs, improve handling performance or simply get an aggressive look by lowering the car to reach the fitment and ride height you were always looking for.

The true coil-over shock replace the factory composite leaf spring so this component need to be removed from the car to not work against the coilover and affect the ride height. Pillowball mountint point are used on this application to offer more precision compared to factory rubber bushing.

The monotube design configuration, added to the completely threaded body result in a fully adjustable long lasting suspension. As the ride height is set by the overall shock length, the spring preload, comfort level and suspension travel remains the same at any ride height setting compared to other suspension where the ride height is set by the spring seat, resulting in reducing the allowed travel as you lower the ride height.

The CV12-AS is offered in Regular version only. This version allow a ride height adjustment from stock to approximately -2.0 inch. Comfort level is really good for daily use and suspension travel is significantly reduced to prevent any rubbing issue when lowered.

This application use a double wishbone suspension configuration for both front and rear. This means that the shock have no direct impact on the wheel alignment. Every cars alignment is affected the more you lower it and depending on the suspension geometry. The C7 Corvette factory control arm have camber/caster adjustment eccentric bolt to set your wheel alignment to factory specs to prevent excessive tire wear after changing the ride height.

We can always customize the spring rate and shock length to fit your exact needs on this application.

All our Alpine series use stainless hardware, to ensure the suspension look like new for years, Alpine series specific internal components and fluid and 24 dampening level to fine tune the comfort level/valving efficiency where you want it to be.
