Delo Gold Ultra SAE 15W-40 is a premium performance, multigrade heavy-duty engine oil formulated with advanced additive technology and high-quality base oils. It is engineered to offer excellent protection, thermal stability, and long service life across a wide range of demanding operating conditions.

With its proven performance and robust chemistry, Delo Gold Ultra SAE 15W-40 is trusted for maintaining engine cleanliness, resisting wear, and enabling smoother, more efficient operation. Its built to support modern engines that operate under intense loads, variable temperatures, and rigorous service cycles.

What Does SAE 15W-40 Mean?

Before diving into the specifics of the product, its important to understand what SAE 15W-40 signifies:

• SAE stands for Society of Automotive Engineers, the body that standardizes oil viscosity ratings.

• 15W refers to the oils viscosity (thickness) at cold temperatures (the W stands for Winter). It ensures reliable performance and flow during cold starts.

• 40 indicates the oils viscosity at high operating temperatures. It ensures that the oil remains stable and protective even when the engine is running hot.

This multi-grade oil performs reliably across a broad temperature range, making it suitable for environments that experience both cold and heat.

Advanced Formulation

Delo Gold Ultra SAE 15W-40 is formulated with ISOSYN technology, a proprietary blend of premium base oils and advanced additive chemistry. This technology delivers synthetic-like performance in a conventional oil, balancing durability and cost-effectiveness.

Key elements include:

• Detergents and Dispersants: To maintain engine cleanliness by controlling soot, sludge, and varnish.

• Anti-Wear Additives: To protect critical engine components like the camshaft, bearings, and pistons from metal-on-metal wear.

• Oxidation Inhibitors: To extend oil life and resist breakdown under extreme heat and stress.

• Anti-Foam Agents: To prevent air bubbles from compromising lubrication.

• Rust and Corrosion Inhibitors: To protect internal metal surfaces from moisture and chemical attacks.

Key Benefits

1. Superior Wear Protection

Delo Gold Ultra creates a resilient lubricating film that shields moving parts from friction and weareven under high pressure. It minimizes contact between metal surfaces, reducing the likelihood of premature wear and extending engine life.

2. Outstanding Soot Dispersal

One of the key threats to engine health is the accumulation of soot and combustion by-products. This oil is engineered to disperse soot particles, preventing them from forming sludge or blocking oil flow passages. The result? Cleaner internals and longer service intervals.

3. Enhanced Oxidation Stability

Modern engines run hotter than ever. Delo Gold Ultra resists thickening and chemical degradation under high temperatures, maintaining consistent viscosity and protection, even after extended use.

4. Deposit Control

This oil actively prevents the buildup of carbon, varnish, and sludge on pistons, valve trains, and other components. A clean engine not only performs better but also uses fuel more efficiently.

5. Excellent Cold-Start Performance

Thanks to its 15W rating, this oil flows well at low temperatures, reducing engine cranking resistance and delivering lubrication to critical parts immediately after startup.

6. Minimized Oil Consumption

Delo Gold Ultra is engineered to reduce evaporation loss and oil burn-off, resulting in lower top-up requirements and cost savings over time.

7. Extended Drain Intervals

With high base number retention and excellent contaminant control, this oil is suitable for longer oil drain intervalsespecially when monitored through oil analysis programs.

Suitable Applications

Delo Gold Ultra SAE 15W-40 is designed for high-performance diesel engines, especially those operating in:

• Heavy-duty construction

• Long-haul transport

• Agricultural machinery

• Mining and industrial equipment

• Marine and stationary power generators

Its versatility also makes it compatible with turbocharged, naturally aspirated, common rail, and EGR-equipped systems, supporting engines with or without emission control technologies such as SCR or EGR.

Environmental Considerations

Delo Gold Ultra is formulated with consideration for environmental protection. Its efficient soot-handling and low evaporation mean:

• Fewer emissions

• Less oil waste

• Improved fuel economy

• Longer maintenance cycles, resulting in fewer oil changes and less environmental impact

Additionally, it supports fuel-efficient engine designs, helping to meet performance needs while reducing environmental footprint.

Performance Standards & Approvals

Delo Gold Ultra SAE 15W-40 meets or exceeds the following industry and OEM standards:

• API CI-4/SL (American Petroleum Institute)

• ACEA E7 (European Automobile Manufacturers Association)

• Global DHD-1

• OEM approvals from brands in construction, transport, and equipment manufacturing

These approvals affirm its reliability under a variety of operating demands and global conditions.

Storage & Handling Tips

For optimal performance, always:

• Store the oil in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight

• Ensure containers are sealed to avoid moisture or contamination

• Use clean tools and funnels during oil changes

• Follow manufacturer recommendations for oil change intervals and quantity

Warning Signs for Change

Even the best oils wear out. Watch for signs like:

• Increased engine noise

• Thickened or darkened oil

• Decreased fuel efficiency

• More frequent top-ups

• Dashboard oil pressure alerts

These symptoms may indicate the need for an oil change or further diagnosis.
