The NextLED NT-6615K 3-in-1 Detailing Pen Light is a compact rechargeable inspection light designed for paint correction, color matching, interior detailing, mechanical work, and close-range surface inspection. Combining a CRI 95+ flood light, focused spotlight, and 365nm UV light in one pocket-sized tool, it gives professional detailers a convenient way to identify defects, inspect tight areas, and complete specialized tasks without carrying multiple lights.

Key Features & Benefits

CRI 95+ Color-Accurate Lighting Produces accurate 6000K illumination that helps reveal swirl marks, scratches, haze, sanding marks, paint inconsistencies, and other defects that ordinary flashlights may conceal.

Three Lighting Functions Combines a high-CRI flood light, focused spotlight, and 365nm UV light in one compact inspection tool.

Up to 430 Lumens of Output The broad flood light provides up to 430 lumens for panel inspection, interior work, and illuminating larger work areas.

Focused 280-Lumen Spotlight Directs concentrated light into seams, engine bays, wheel wells, door jambs, and other confined areas where broad lighting is less effective.

365nm UV Inspection Light Useful for detecting compatible fluorescent dyes, tracing automotive fluid leaks, inspecting stains, and performing other specialized UV inspection tasks.

Two Flood-Light Brightness Levels Switch between 430 lumens for maximum visibility and 100 lumens for extended runtime and less intense close-range work.

Hands-Free Magnetic Mounting Two integrated magnets allow the light to attach to suitable metal surfaces while you work.

Integrated Pocket Clip Clips securely to a shirt, pocket, tool bag, or belt for convenient access throughout the job.

Durable Aluminum Construction Lightweight aluminum housing and IK07 impact resistance provide reliable performance in professional shop and mobile detailing environments.

Compact, Rechargeable Design At just 6.85 inches long and 2.2 ounces, the light fits easily in a pocket while delivering up to eight hours of runtime.

How to Use

Step 1: Fully charge the pen light before use.

Step 2: Select the high-CRI flood light for paint inspection, color evaluation, or broad close-range illumination.

Step 3: Choose the desired flood-light brightness based on the level of illumination and runtime required.

Step 4: Use the focused spotlight when inspecting tight spaces, seams, mechanical components, or difficult-to-reach areas.

Step 5: Select the 365nm UV mode when checking compatible fluorescent dyes, fluid leaks, stains, or other UV-reactive materials.

Step 6: Hold the light at different angles to the surface or secure it to a suitable metal surface using the integrated magnets.

Pro Tip: When inspecting corrected paint, move the light across the panel at a shallow angle instead of pointing it directly at the surface. Changing the angle and distance helps expose fine swirl marks, haze, and isolated defects that may disappear under straight-on lighting.

Why We Love It

At Car Supplies Warehouse, we love the NextLED NT-6615K because it combines three useful inspection tools in a genuinely pocket-friendly design. The high-CRI flood light is excellent for checking smaller corrected areas, the spotlight reaches into confined spaces, and the 365nm UV mode adds specialized leak and stain detection capability. Its aluminum construction, magnetic mounting, and long low-output runtime make it a practical everyday light for detailers, technicians, and mobile professionals.

Compatible With / Works Best With

Paint Correction Compounds and Polishes Use the high-CRI flood light between polishing stages to evaluate defect removal and identify remaining haze, swirl marks, or scratches.

Ceramic Coatings and Paint Protection Products Helps inspect smaller areas for coating high spots, residue, missed sections, and uneven application.

UV Fluorescent Leak-Detection Dyes The 365nm UV mode can reveal compatible fluorescent dyes used to locate automotive fluid leaks and other hidden issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the flood light and spotlight?

The flood light produces a wider beam for paint inspection and general task lighting, while the spotlight creates a narrower, more focused beam for seams, engine bays, wheel wells, and other confined spaces.

Why is a CRI 95+ light useful for automotive detailing?

A high Color Rendering Index produces more accurate color and surface detail, making paint defects, haze, color differences, and inconsistencies easier to identify.

What can the UV light be used for?

The 365nm UV light can be used with compatible fluorescent dyes for automotive leak detection and may also help reveal certain stains, residues, and UV-reactive materials.

Can the light be mounted hands-free?

Yes. Two integrated magnets allow it to attach to suitable steel surfaces, and the pocket clip can also secure it to clothing or gear.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the selected mode. The 100-lumen flood setting provides up to approximately eight hours, while the brightest modes provide shorter runtimes.

Is the light durable enough for professional shop use?

Yes. It features lightweight aluminum construction and an IK07 impact-resistance rating for added durability in detailing, body shop, and mechanical environments.
