The Lake Country Purple Foamed Wool Pad combines the aggressive cutting ability of traditional wool with the finishing characteristics of a foam pad. Utilizing Lake Country’s patented foamed wool technology, this pad quickly removes heavy paint defects, sanding marks, oxidation, and severe imperfections while finishing significantly better than conventional wool pads.

Key Features & Benefits

Patented Foamed Wool Technology Nanofoam particles are integrated into the base of the wool fibers, creating a unique pad that cuts aggressively while delivering an improved finish.

Removes Heavy Defects Fast Effectively eliminates P1500 sanding marks, oxidation, deep swirls, and severe paint imperfections.

Finishes Better Than Traditional Wool Reduces compounding haze and rotary swirls compared to conventional wool pads.

Dense Fiber Construction Resists matting and caking while maintaining consistent cutting performance throughout the polishing process.

Improved Compound Retention Microscopic air pockets help hold compounds and polishes within the pad for longer working cycles.

How to Use

Step 1: Attach the Purple Foamed Wool Pad to the appropriate backing plate.

Step 2: Prime the pad with your preferred cutting compound.

Step 3: Work in small sections using slow, overlapping passes.

Step 4: Monitor paint temperature and clean the pad regularly during use.

Step 5: Follow with a polishing pad and finishing polish if additional refinement is desired.

Pro Tip

For neglected paint, severe oxidation, or heavy sanding mark removal, pair the Purple Foamed Wool Pad with a heavy-cut compound. Follow up with a polishing pad and finishing polish to maximize gloss and clarity.
